On day one, we’ll pick you up up from your hotel, home or Christchurch International Airport, and head for Waipara, just 40 minutes north of Christchurch. The region is best known for its spicy and rich Pinot Noirs and Rieslings, and has a great reputation for other aromatic varieties, such as Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer as well as its own distinctive take on Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
During the day, you will enjoy tastings at both Black Estate and Waipara Hills and have lunch in one of the winery’s award-winning restaurants. Later in the day, we’ll take you back to Waipuna Estate, where you can relax over pre-dinner drinks, perhaps unwinding with a glass of wine in the spa pool, before enjoying a delicious three-course dinner, cooked by your own private chef.
After enjoying the privacy of one of our luxurious rooms overnight, you’ll enjoy one of our famous leisurely breakfasts, which will get you ready for the day ahead. We’ll then transport you back to your hotel, home, or to the airport.
