We had a fantastic time, it was so effortless which made life a lot easier for us at a very busy time. The space up there is so stunning, it was amazing waking up to those views and that breakfast was outstanding. Far too much for us to eat but absolutely delicious.
What can I say, we wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Beautiful scenery, such an amazing house with the nicest people to deal with.
I got dressed at this place with my bridesmaid and it made the the whole experience very relaxing and fun. I highly recommend this to anyone. Some of my wedding photos were taken there as well and they were beautiful. Very affordable and worth it. Definitely a 5 star rating.

It was so easy and comfortable. Definitely no HOTEL VIBE as you enter, no nasty parking signs or directional signs to the Reception. It had a casual nature about its set up, yet we really felt well looked after, true NZ hospitality!
So we ended up knocking on the front door after parking in the driveway, and we were welcomed by our very friendly host, Merv!
When we entered the house, we were amazed with how spacious it was with such a homie vibe about it! It definitely didn’t feel like we were walking through a hotel b&b, it was decorated and arrange like a comfortable family home. Plus, we rocked up at “Golden Hour” so our arrival was accompanied with a sunset light coming through the windows and we were melting over the views and ambient light.

Food was just right, views were beautiful, a peaceful and quiet place to get over jet lag. Our host was more than helpful answering our questions and offering advice on travel.

Merv was a fantastic host and put on a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning! So pleased I booked in at Waipuna Estate with my bridesmaids the night before the big day!!
Lovely views and a lux feel. We enjoyed meeting fellow travellers, sharing a glass of wine on the patio and breakfast the next day.

First of all we are really grateful to Merv for offering us such a fantastic experience which drew a perfect ending to our trip in New Zealand. We fell in love with this place as soon as we entered. It has beautiful scenery, exquisite decor and everything was well-arranged.
Merv went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay here. The views were amazing, especially the sunrise at dawn. And we absolutely loved the breakfast Merv prepared for us. We invited Merv to have dinner with us. We shared the wine and had a wonderful time.
We would definitely come back, and we hope to see Merv again in China. We wish Merv all the best!

This luxurious villa is a secluded paradise, a lovely retreat away from hustle and bustle. We really enjoyed the amazing night skies and morning walks on the grass. The host arranged everything we needed perfectly. Food was delicious and well-equipped kitchen was available to guests. The stylish and quality interior was just what we needed to feel like it was a home away from home.

Absolutely perfect! We enjoyed a comfortable and quiet stay and had a hearty breakfast. The early morning mist and dew was beautiful. The best part was the host’s meticulous attention to detail. We are sad to leave and would definitely go back if we travel to New Zealand again.
