When thinking of an April wedding, we don’t usually envisage snow on the mountains! However, in true Canterbury (and New Zealand!) style, the weather took a wintery turn before our last wedding of the season. Luckily, we were gifted us an incredibly sunny day for Jess and Jamie’s magical day, complete with a breath-taking snowy backdrop.
Jess and Jamie exchanged their vows on the lawn in front of their family and friends. The styling of the ceremony was elegant, with white chairs set out. Ribbons were attached to the chairs on the aisle.
After the ceremony, guests mingled on the lawn before heading to the terrace where a bar was set up with drink dispensers and a delectable grazing table from The Social Platter company.
Malia Rose Photography captured the day, making the most of the truly beautiful muted autumn colours in the gardens at Waipuna and the stunning local photo locations. Videography was carried out by Take Five Wedding Cinema.
The reception featured stylish trestle tables adorned with beautiful lace, fresh florals, antique charge plates and candelabras, set amongst a soft pink colour palette.
Guests enjoyed plenty of delicious food from the Spit Roast Company and finished off with delectable wedding cakes from Cakes by Anna.
Brendan from Boogie Beats kept guests on their feet as they danced the night away on the terrace.
Congratulations Jess and Jamie, your day was absolutely stunning and we loved working with you!
